Massey University is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to take on the role of Director, Student Registry, a pivotal position responsible for leading student administration across the full ākonga lifecycle - from admission through to graduation.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Students and Global Engagement and the University Registrar, you will also act as Deputy University Registrar. In this role, you will provide senior oversight, as it relates to student administration, of regulatory compliance, institutional risk, and the performance of core student systems and services.
You will lead the continuous enhancement of Student Registry through digital enablement, service design and process improvement, ensuring services are integrated, efficient and centred on student experience. This is a critical leadership role, requiring the ability to operate strategically while delivering operational excellence across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

You will be a proven senior leader with the ability to deliver impact at scale. Key to your success will be:
- Strategic leadership of complex, end-to-end administrative functions, ideally across a full service lifecycle.
- Experience driving digital transformation, automation and service innovation to improve performance and user experience.
- Strong expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management within large, complex organisations.
- A track record of building and leading high-performing, engaged teams and developing future capability.
- The ability to influence and partner effectively across diverse stakeholder groups, providing trusted strategic advice.
- A data-informed approach to decision making, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with the ability to embed culturally responsive and Tiriti-led practices into leadership, decision making and service delivery.
