2x Full-Time Positions
We are seeking two Kaiwhakaaraara – Whānau Ora Navigators to join our growing team. As a Navigator, you will walk alongside whānau, helping them identify their aspirations, overcome barriers and achieve meaningful outcomes.
We are seeking people who can help whānau:
- Develop personalised plans to achieve their goals and aspirations
- Build capability and confidence by providing mentoring and practical support
- Connect with services and resources they need to thrive
- Build strong relationships across the hapori
- Monitor their progress, celebrate successes while maintaining accurate records
The ideal people will have:
- Experience in supporting, coaching and empowering whānau
- A good understanding of kaupapa Māori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Whānau Ora
- Strong relationship-building, communication and networking skills
- Experience in social services, community development, health, education or a related field
- The ability to work alongside whānau with complex and evolving needs
- Knowledge of local services and confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems
- Good accountability and organisational skills and be a self-motivated, reliable, team player
