About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga
We have a fixed term or secondment available to 31 August 2026 for a Finance Support Analyst (we will be working directly with the successful candidate closer to the date for NZSPA establishment regarding potential extension options, as that date is not yet confirmed in legislation.)
The Finance Support Analyst reports to the Team Leader – Project Accounting and provides financial support for Capital Works within Te Pou Rangatōpū Corporate. The role supports accurate financial management, monitoring, and capitalisation of capital works projects in line with organisational policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Working closely with the Capital Works team, Project Delivery Managers, and Project Coordinators, the position ensures timely project updates, accurate reporting, and effective financial oversight, while contributing to continuous improvement of project accounting processes and the effective use of capital works information systems.

Salary range: $60,879 - $72,999 per annum plus KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake
To be successful in the role, you will bring:
- Asset Management experience within the public sector.
- Experience in systems management and implementation to support capital programmes and Fixed Assets information.
- Experience building relationships and partnerships to achieve shared outcomes.
- Proven public sector or corporate accounting experience in a large organisation.
- A tertiary qualification in a related field would be an added advantage.
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake
The Capital Investments Team is part of Finance in Te Pou Rangatōpū| Corporate. We are responsible for partnering with the Property Delivery team to provide sound financial advise to enable them to operate effectively and fulfil the financial, statutory and reporting obligations of Te Tāhuhu.
