Mō Manatū Wāhine - About Manatū Wāhine
Manatū Wāhine Ministry for Women is the Government's principal advisor on improving the lives of wāhine/women and kōtiro/girls in Aotearoa New Zealand. We provide system leadership, working across Government and with stakeholders to improve outcomes for wāhine/women and kōtiro/girls.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About this role
We're looking for a skilled and passionate digital communicator to join our team as a Communications Advisor. In this role, you'll lead and coordinate storytelling and content across our social and digital channels, using your creativity and expertise to connect with women and girls in meaningful and impactful ways.
You'll also play a key part in strengthening our internal communications - championing our intranet and ensuring our mahi is visible, engaging, and aligned across the organisation.

Ko koe tēnei - About you:
- As a self-starter, you'll have excellent organisation skills and be able to plan, write and share engaging content aligned with our work programme and focus areas
- You'll bring strong digital and social media skills, with a knack for tailoring content to connect with diverse audiences, especially women and girls
- You'll be confident working across a range of formats, from video and graphics to copy, with a good eye for what works where
- You'll have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working closely with others to elevate stories, amplify voices, and support internal visibility
- You'll take initiative to champion our intranet and help keep our internal communications clear, timely and engaging
- Your understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ability to apply this within the work that you do is important, but we are happy to support your learning in this area
